You are right, these explanations are ridiculous, I agree that evolution is a myth and have decided to believe instead that a mysterious and elusive 'being' called god created all living creatures; just seems more plausible.
The word evolution as defined bz Darwin is wrong. BUT if it is definded as "changes in response to the environement and / or changes in the environment, then it is and was very active. Darwin reported himself the best proof for the second definition. On the Galapagos Islands there are only different kinds of finches present. Yet these finches have been able to make use of all the other food sources. eg the magpie, carrion eater,.. Some time ago a BBC documentary on those finches showed a finch hammering like a woodpecker on a cactus to dig out a grub. As his beak wass too short to reach the grub, this finch had a dry needle of the cactus with it and with that needle it poked the grub out. After about 10.000 generations one would expect, that the "woodpecker-finch" would develop a longer beak. But NO, the only change was a thiker beak for the hammering.
PLUS, Evolutionists used to depict the COELECANTH, a fish known only from fossils far back 400 million years,as very powerful evidence of a transitional form between fish and amphibians. Since it was assumed that this species had become extinct 70 million years ago, evolutionists engaged in all kinds of speculation regarding the fossils. On 22 December 1938, however, a living Coelecanth was caught in the deep waters of the Indian Ocean. More than 200 other living specimens have been caught in the years that followed. All the speculation regarding these fish had been unfounded. Contrary to what evolutionists claimed, the Coelecanth was not a vertebrate with half-fish, half-amphibian characteristics preparing to emerge onto dry land. It was in fact a bottom-dwelling fish that almost never rose above a depth of 180 meters (590 feet). Moreover, there were no anatomical differences between the living Coelecanth and the 400-million-year-old fossil specimens. This creature had never “evolved” at all.
