The Golden Rule
This video clearly illustrates The Golden Rule which is found in the scriptures of nearly every religion. It is often regarded as the most concise and general principle of ethics. Though sometimes called “reciprocity,” the Golden Rule is proactive, not reactive. It teaches us to initiate acts of kindness and consideration for the other, not to react to an insult by returning the same. Hence, this is a challenging ethic, requiring considerable moral integrity to practice. This is the one of the universal principle in our world, but not everyone is applying it. Therefore, we should remind ourselves each day through scripture reading and prayer. All religions teaches us this principle, even non-religious people and institution always teaches this, therefore it is called a universal principle.
Christianity: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you
Buddhism: Hurt not others with that which pains yourself
Judaism: Thou shalt Love thy neighbor as thyself
Hinduism: One should always treat others as they themselves wish to be treated
Confucianism: What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others
Islam: Not one of your is a believer until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.
Zoroastrianism: Whatever is disagreeable to yourself, do not do unto others
Unificationism: What is the path for us to live a true life? As we go on the path, the main thing we should keep in mind is to live for the sake of others. Confucius, Jesus, Muhammad and Buddha all affirm this truth. Living for the sake of others is the universal principle that defines the way we should live our lives - the one law of the true way of life.
Commonsensism:Treat people the way you'd like to be treated
Others: One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself.
